UPDATE:
Tandem in Care Physical Therapy is resuming services for home visit physical therapy services.
Safety: Our staff has appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and all equipment used for physical therapy sessions are being cleaned and sanitized in between each visit religiously.

In response to the New York "Pause" order, Tandem in Care Physical Therapy announced its temporary hold in providing physical therapy home visit for the safety of our patients especially our elderly population.
Physical Therapy is an essential service that provides treatment towards regaining function, decreasing caregiver burden and ultimately improve quality of life. This is now evidently important for patients who are recovering from recent hospitalization.
Unfortunately, the elderly population has been among the most affected by the COVID-19. Despite their vulnerability to this disease, there are also great news of hospital discharges and amazing recovery. However, there is a current shortage of facilities or healthcare workers that can provide continuation of care to assist our elderly population to their full recovery.
Your partners in Tandem in Care Physical Therapy are responding to this need.
At this time, we are catering exclusively to the recovering COVID-19 patients at home who are in need to regain their strength, endurance and function.
To continue to protect our elderly population, we are still temporarily close for other physical therapy need. We hope to resume providing care to you as soon as this situation allows. For now, please stay healthy and safe, wash your hands and maintain social distancing.
